1400.125学术不诚信

任何学生 who engages in any form of academic dishonesty may be subject to discipline. 常见的 instances of academic dishonesty include (but are not limited to): cheating; fabrication; plagiarism; facilitating, aiding or abetting others in academic dishonesty; collusion; or resubmitting work previously submitted for another 课程 without 教练 许可. Academic dishonesty may be subject to both academic sanctions and/or code 行为制裁.

A. 学生的责任

学生 are expected to maintain high standards of academic honesty and integrity 根据学生行为准则.

1. A student shall not give unauthorized information to another person or receive unauthorized 在任何类型的检查中，来自他人的信息.
2. A student shall not obtain or provide without authorization questions or answers from 考试前的考试时间.
3. A student shall not use unauthorized sources for answers during any examination.

学生不得从事任何形式的抄袭. 抄袭被定义为提交 to a 教师 member any work product which the student fraudulently represents to the 教师 member as the student’s own work product, for the purpose of fulfilling or partially fulfilling any assignment or task required by the 教师 member as a 学生教学计划的一部分. 学生应该知道并遵守 with accepted classroom procedures and academic standards as set forth by the college 教师.

B. 学生的制裁

A student may be subject to academic sanctions as well as 纪律处分 for acts of academic dishonesty for failure to meet the accepted academic standards of 该学院或违反行为准则. 纪律处分可能导致 in disciplinary sanctions up to and including dismissal from the college. 以下 可能会受到以下学术制裁:

1. The 教练 may assign to the student a failing grade for an individual project/test/paper, 等.

Instructors and students are responsible for maintaining academic standards and integrity 在课堂上. Academic consequences for academic dishonesty may be imposed by the 课程 教练. Such consequences may include but cannot exceed a grade of “F” in the 课程. 这个过程可以包括但不限于:

1. The 教练 attempts to notify the student of the suspected academic dishonesty 给学生一个回应的机会. 通知和机会可能 非正式的，不必是书面的. 对违纪行为的处罚 must be imposed via the code of conduct and the processes established.
2. Instructors are encouraged to report incidents of academic dishonesty to the vice president of student services (VPSS) via the college’s incident reporting process.

4. The VPSS may initiate a 纪律处分 after receiving a report of academic dishonesty.
5. A report of more than one academic dishonesty incident will automatically initiate 纪律处分.

C. 学术欺诈程序

   1. The 教练 of a 课程 who discovers an instance of academic dishonesty by a student, 谁负责决定要采取的行动.
   2. The 教练 discusses the academic dishonesty with the student prior to taking 任何正式行动.
   3. If as a result of the discussion with the student formal action is required, the actions 教师可以采取包括但不限于:
      1. Assigning a reduction in grade for the paper, project or examination.
      2. Assigning an “F” grade, zero points, or a reduced number of points on all or part 指某一特定论文、项目或考试.
   4. Instructor informs the student that the final grade for the 课程 may be lowered 在解决学术不诚实问题后.
   5. The 教练 emails or sends the student an “Instructor Sanctions Letter” fully stating what action is to be taken as a result of the academic dishonesty.
   6. The 教练 informs the student that no grade is to be assigned for the 课程 直到学术不诚实问题得到解决.
2. 指导措施:通知学生服务副主席.
   1. The 教师 member notifies the VPSS regarding all instances  of academic dishonesty 学生在哪里受到学术处罚.
   2. 教职员工向VPSS发送一份教员处分信” or email written to the student that provides all the necessary information as to the academic dishonesty and the action the 教练 intends to assign.
3. 学生行动:与学生服务副总裁会面.

   2. The VPSS informs the student of the implications of academic dishonesty and the consequences 这可能导致.
   3. If there is a repeat incident of academic dishonesty, the VPSS will initiate the disciplinary 行为准则中描述的流程.

   1. A student will not be allowed to withdraw from a 课程 when academic dishonesty is suspected or in which the student has committed academic dishonesty.

   2. The Registrar will insure that it is not possible for the student to drop the 课程 并得到“W”的成绩.

D. 学生申诉-教规委员会

1. The student may appeal an academic sanction or 纪律处分 as a result of the code of conduct process to the Academic Regulations Committee.
2. The student should follow procedures set forth in the student academic grievance procedure.
